Thachi Chanjwala Saponidhar Grassland Trek:
Trek will be through the Jungle,Covering the unexplored and beautiful landscape.
Check the Places Covered under this trek to get the idea of the sites that you will be covering in this trek.
Transport:
Volvo from Delhi to Aut starting from Delhi Majnu ka tilla around 6-7 PM every day. (personal tempo can also be booked on request)
Reach Aut in the morning around 7-8 AM.
Day 1:
You will reach Aut Station by 8 AM in the morning.
We will be there to receive you. Taxi will pick you up from Aut.
Below is the Itinerary:
Day 1:
Aut to Bachard station by taxi.
Breafast at Bachard and lunch will be packed with some fruits and other eatables.
Lunch around 2 PM on the trek.
From Bachard our trek will begin.
Covering:
Ropa pond site.
Panala Village.
Total time with relaxed speed:3-4 hours.
We will be taking break after every 2 hours to take rest and ejoy the sites in between.
Reaching Campsite by evening.
Camps will be allocated.
There is a small cottage with only three rooms.
Rooms will be provided only for the needy person. Rest will be sleeping in tents.
Tents will be allocated on double and trip basis. Large size tents for 5 person will also be avaialble.
Sleeping bags and matteresses and other required things will be provided by us.
Dinner will be served with bonfire at the campsite.
Bonfire with some music.
Goodnight for the day.
*those who are not in good health and can not afford to walk or cover the trek, taxi will be provided to reach the campsite directly.
Day 2:
Early morning breakfast.
Lunch will be packed.
Covering:
Thachi Bithu Narayan Site
HadimbaPeak
Chanjwala Peak Grassland.
Total time with relaxed speed of the group 4-5 hours.
We will be taking break after every 2 hours to take rest and ejoy the sites in between.
Lunch at 2 PM on the trek.
We will reach our second campsite by evening deep into the valley.
Dinner along with bonfire.
Bonfire.
Enjoy the real into the jungle camping.
Goodnight for the second day.
*those who are not in good health and can not afford to walk or cover the trek, taxi will be provided to reach the campsite directly.
Day 3:
Mornning breakfast and Lunch will be packed.
Today we will be heading to the Saponidhar Grassland.
Covering:
Saponidhar Grassland
Ashu water stream.
Lunch at water stream.
After crossing the water stream, taxi will pick us up.
Total time with relaxed speed of the group 2-3 hours.
We will be taking break after every 2 hours to take rest and ejoy the sites in between.
We will reach Aut by evening.
Taxi will drop us at Aut station.
Board the volvo around 6-7 PM
REach Delhi by morning by 6-7 AM.

A beautiful temple surrounded by Devdar Trees and a beautiful crystal clear water pond with colored fishes in it.
Ropa Camp
A wooden cottage and campsite.
Open wide area, surrounded by apple orchard from three side and lush green devdar forest from the other side. We have not changed the natural look of the place but just had selected places for installing camps in between the apple orchard.
Wide open area for you to roam and bonfire at night. You can even spend the rest of you trip here at this place only.
Hidab Peak
From Hidab Dhar Peak , you will be able to get a 3D view of the valley.
Snow is only in winters Dec-Feb.
Chanjwala Peak
Chajwala Peak is 3000 meter above see level and a must to visit place in Himachal Pradesh.
Beautiful natural scenery with tall Devdar trees surrounding the place.
On the way to Chajwala Peak, you will be visiting Thachi Bithu Narayan site and Hadimba Peak.
Chajwala is covered with snow for 4 months in winters.
Saponidhar Grassland Peak
At 3200 meter above sea level and never ending grassland with paragliding point.
You will be in peace once you reach here.
A must visit natural site.

Kamehdhar.
Gharlsaw.
Lunch at Gharlsaw.
Total time with relaxed speed of the group 3-4 hours.

Taxi will pick us on our way back to the Ashu alli water stream.
We will reach Aut by evening.
Taxi will drop us at Aut station.

Ashu Alli water stream
Ashu Dev Temple is near to Chodi village situated in Thachi Valley and is 1 hour steep downhill trek from Thachi main station(Bithu Narayan Temple).
The Temple is small and is covered from the top by a single Devdar tree with a beautiful water stream near to the temple. Though the water is deep but you can see the bottom of the stream from a distance, cause its a fresh snow melted water and is crystal clear.
Ashu Alli Waterfall 2 is a 15 minutes down the stream trek from here.
This is a moving water and pure, so feel free to drink and don’t forget to take a dip too.
Gaun Beed waterfall
Approximately 2000 meter above sea level.
Waterfall is hidden somewhere into the woods and can’t be seen until you reach just beneath it.
Gaun Beed Waterfall is not known my most. This is a very magnificent waterfall.
You can see it either from the front mountain or when you are just beneath the waterfall. This
waterfall is not seen from any other location.
When you are about to reach the waterfall, you will remove some bushes in front of you and there it is,
water falling from the cloud. You wont be able to see the top of this waterfall when you are just beneath it.
It will look like water is falling directly from the cloud.
A must visit site for nature lovers.
Gaun beed plateau
Only locals knows about this place . All the tree sides are covered with tall old devdar forest and one side is open for a beautiful view of Thachi valley and beautiful grassland in between. It would be a breathtaking moment to see sunrise at this place and having a camp night at this untouched natural place.
The surrounding areas covers, Kamehdhar Grass land and Gharlsaw grassland, No one knows about this places and no will will ever be able to arrange trips to these places because its not easy to reach here and make arrangements. Snow in winters for 3 months.
Gaun beed is at the top of this amazing hidden gaun beed waterfall.

Surrounded by old devdar apple trees and its the peak of the Sarachi part of Thachi valley.
An old and historic Shiva temple in middle of the wide grassland and no one to disturb you and the nature here.

Down trek to Ashu alli water stream.
Lunch at GAun Beed Plateau.

Taxi will pick us after we cross the Ashu alli waterstream and drop us at Aut.
We will reach out by evening.
